WELCOME TO THE KAPUNDA FARM FAIR

Organiser Bill Adams, extends a warm welcome to our regular exhibitors and to those who will be at Kapunda for the first time. You can be assured of our very best endeavours as to site location and service.                                                  

We are approximately 50% rural and 50% general interest.                       

For those who are not familiar with our location, you will find the site, and car parking is user friendly and well sign posted. Kapunda is 77 kms north of the city of Adelaide (turn off Gawler By-Pass), 20 minutes to the Barossa Valley, an hour to the Clare Valley and just over an hour to the Riverland.                                   

Estimating attendances is difficult with all outside events, however, given good weather, we anticipate 4,000 on Friday and 5,000 on Saturday.                                                                       

Early site and accommodation bookings are recommended. Entries close 28/2/2012. To secure a site, you can lodge your application form with full payment or a non refundable deposit of $110, balance will be payable 15/3/2012.                                  

This is the 8^th Kapunda Farm Fair and the 2011 season is looking very promising following record yields in 2010. All Augurs well for another highly successful event.                                                                                                

Plans are underway to introduce a vintage tractor, motor vehicle and motorbike and machinery auction during the fair. More about this later. Other additions include an extended children's entertainment program, a free concert, cooking demonstrations and fashion parades. There's something for all the family, plenty of undercover seating, good food areas and a pleasant level site.
